Govt will not allow hoarding, takes stern action against hoarders: Aleem


Punjab Food Department has recovered hefty reserve of wheat from Southern Punjab.

According to details, Punjab Food Department has recovered ten thousand bags of one hundred Kilogram from Dera Gazi Khan, three thousand bags from Bahawalnagar, two thousand bags from Layyah and twenty thousand maund from Multan.

On the direction of Senior & Punjab Food Minister operations against hoarders have been intensified across the province.

In a statement, Punjab Food Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said that Southern Punjab is sensitive area as it is near to provincial boarder.

He said that government will not allow hoarding and stern action taken against hoarders. He said that action is underway in all districts and he is personally monitoring all process.

Abdul Aleem Khan also thanked media for extending cooperation and unveil hoarders.

He said that there wills no shortage of wheat in Punjab.
