Pakistan’s leading NGO Million Smiles Foundation and Pakistan’s leading software company NetSol have pledged to work together in the field of education across the country, including in Azad Kashmir.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the NetSol head office in Lahore with the participation of Zeshan Afzal, co-founder of Million Smiles Foundation and Saleem Ghauri, CEO of NetSol. The senior members of both organizations were also present at the event.

NetSol will sponsor a school in the Naqdar Neelam Valley area of Azad Kashmir through the Million Smiles Foundation, in which 160 children are receiving free education. For this, stationery, school uniforms and other necessary goods will be provided to the children while a modern computer lab will also be constructed in the school by NetSol.

While talking on the occasion, Zeshan Afzal, co-founder of Million Smiles Foundation, said that he thanks to God that eminent people of the corporate world have also started joining us in this journey of goodness.

“We are committed to providing access to education to every child across the country, including in Azad Kashmir.” said ZA. In a rapidly changing world, it is very difficult to live without consciousness and for this purpose we are trying to popularize education, ZA added.

The Million Smiles Foundation has already adopted 5 schools in Azad Kashmir – functioned them – where 800 children are being provided free education. He said the Million Smiles Foundation would launch more such projects in near future soon across Pakistan.

“I am delighted to be working with the Million Smiles Foundation and we are confident that the children who graduate from this school will one day make a name for themselves in the world,” said Saleem Ghauri, CEO of NetSols. He said, “Computer education is the backbone of the modern world, so we will set up modern labs in this school as well. We will continue to work hand in hand with the Million Smiles Foundation.”

It is to be noted that earlier 5 schools have been rebuilt and are now functional in Azad Kashmir by Million Smiles Foundation. These schools have been set up in areas where there was no interest in education. However, now more than 800 children will receive free education. In addition, a mosque in Azad Kashmir has been renovated by the Million Smiles Foundation.
